NYC Tea Tours

I organize free walking Tea Buys and Tasting's throughout New York City. If you are interested in joining us, please become a member of the Tea Tour NY Meetup or join our Facebook page. It's free to join, and participate.
I don't charge a fee as the Meetup is sponsored by Andrew Worden.

The Pat Kiernan Tea Drinking Game

I developed this game using the same principals as any other alcohol drinking game, except you use Tea. Here are the Rules:

  1. Watch NY1 every morning that Pat Kiernan (he's a Native Canadian) is the anchor.

  2. Whenever he mentions his Canadian heritage, or mentions Canada during his broadcast, you drink a cup of Tea.

  3. If possible, Tweet about it stating which Tea you are drinking.

He's more likely to do it during his feature "In The Papers," but it can happen any time during his time slot which I believe is from 5 AM until 12 Noon weekdays.

On Saturday, April 17th 2010 we had a Japanese Tea Ceremony and celebrated Sakura Matsuri. We were supposed to do this in Central Park, but we got rained out, so we moved it to my apartment.
